Finnish well validated screening score for diabetes risk
Canadian screening score/calculator for diabetes risk
From the Canadian Task Force on Preventative Med:
FINDRISC (the Finnish Diabetes Risk Score) has been selected as the preferred validated risk calculator, but CANRISK (the Canadian Diabetes Risk Assessment Questionnaire) is an acceptable alternative. Factors considered in FINDRISC and CANRISK are age, obesity, history of elevated glucose levels, history of hypertension, family history of diabetes, limited activity levels, and diet with limited intake of fruits and vegetables. The CANRISK questionnaire can be found via the PHAC website or here:

FINDRISC diabetes risk calculator is available on the QxMD app, but not MedCalx!

Both formulas assess the risk for type 2 diabetes in overweight and obese adults and are part of calculations suggested by the Canadian Task Force!
