Liver injury calculations
Hi,
Would it be possible to add the R value calculation that determines if liver injury is cholestatic, hepatocellular or mixed?
Also, could you add the RUCAM calculation that is used for drug induced liver injury?
Thanks!

Agreed. Useful!
SUGGESTED FORMULA (Ref Medscape 2/1/2018 - New Guidelines Provide a Clearer Path Forward for Abnormal Liver Tests. Balistreri.)
R ratio for liver injury
R = (ALT value / ALT ULN (upper limit of normal) / (Alk Phos / Alk Phos ULN)
R ratio > 5 suggests hepatocellular injury, less than 2 cholestatic injury, 2 to 5 a mixed pattern
