ckd epi gfr mistake
I think that there is a mistake with the body surface adjustment. As in
your mdrd gfr formula, the adjustment is directly proportional to the
relative body surface of the patient (ref uptodate :measurement of
kidney function 2012 )Your calculation is inversely proportional in
the ckd epi gfr formula.

Changed in the upcoming 2.5 version!

No problem, thanks for the input! Yes, that was indeed turned around, see the screenshot from our upcoming version, I think this is what you were expecting:

Oh wait, I just realized I was checking on the upcoming version, not the currently available one. You are right, this behavior was the other way around before, we changed this already and it will be the same as it is in MDRD currently!
Sorry for the confusion.

Can you give me the input you used and the result you get with the National Kidney Foundation calculator? This way I can take a closer look.

When we use the ckd epi medcalc formula with age creat gender eth, but without
BSA we have the result in ml/min.
When we add the BSA we have ml/min/1.73m2.With MDRD it is the opposite.
I have check the result with the tool of the National kidney fondation and
we have the ckd epi result with age creat gender eth and without BSA in
ml/min/1.73 m2.It is different of the medcalc result .WhyDenis Beaulieu
