  2. Mac OSX version

I'd love to have this app on my Mac, with an export to excel option!

I do research and I sometimes need to do quick calculations for a couple of patiënts. I now use the Medcalc on my iPhone, mail it to myself, and copy it to excel.

A Mac version would be much easier to use (bigger screen and no "emailing to myself").

Please consider! I'd buy immediately if it were in the app store. Plus, you'd be the only one there: there are currently no medical calculator apps in the Mac App Store.

  14. Initiating and Adjusting Insulin in Diabetes Mellitus 2

It would be great if MedCalc had the formula for initiating insulin, based on weight, and adjusting insulin, based on fasting glucose and current insulin units. There's already an app for that, but the formulas are public. Instead of having two apps, we could have only one app!
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/insulin-dosing-algorithm/id323628068?mt=8 this is the link for that FREE app.

  17. Blood sample for infectious disease tests - Qualification.

Blood samples of potential deceased donors for tissues and cells are taken to minimise the risk of transmitting infectious diseases to other recipients.Collection of the blood samples for testing are taken no longer than 24 hours after death and it is recognised the volume of blood, colloids and crystolloids infused prior to death may affect the test results. A standardised formula (e.g. Europe, USA) is available in this healthcare sector to determine the acceptability of a blood sample for infectious marker testing, when infusions have taken place. The algorithm is based on values related to blood volume, plasma volume and…
