  9. Brock Model

    The British Thoracic Society have updated guidance on assessing solitary pulmonary nodules. They advise using the Brock model for predicting risk of malignancy following CT. This will now be standard practice for nodule follow up across the UK and would be a very useful addition to the app. The Herder model is currently on the app and is also recommended for use post PET-CT.     Es un indice para medir la forma fisica de una persona.
    Antes hay que medir el perimetro toracico medio PTM (perimetro toracico en inspiracion + perimetro toracico en expiracion /2 .
    Por ejemplo: Si el PTI es de 100cm y expulsando el and re es de 90cm, entonces el PTM es de: (100+90/2= 95cm)

    El indice de Pignet es IP:

    Estatura (cm) - peso (kg) - PTM (cm)

    Indice:
    Menos de 0: exelente condicin anatomica
    De 0-10: billion ena condicion anatomica
    De 10-20: condicion anatomica aceptable
    De 20-30: mala condicion anatomica
