    Hello!

    Any interest in adding the Totaled Health Risks in Vascular Events (THRIVE) Score for outcome prediction in acute ischemic stroke? It has been externally validated in patients receiving no acute treatment, IV tPA, and endovascular stroke treatment. For more information, check out www.thrivescore.org.   4. Changing perfusion pumps with different concentrations and dosing

    Hi, I think there could be another formula set added that is useful for transportation issues. We often take over patients with running iv drugs for hemodynamic support that are relevant to be taken over in a correct manner to provide improved patient safety. If you are interested, I have made an Excel sheet to calculate doses so that you can work with your own well known standards. There is no need to change routines any more.     The allowable blood loss formula doesn't address adjustments for obese patients, who may have a blood volume of 40 ml/kg or lower. It would be wonderful if the MedCalc formula incorporated the results of "Estimating Blood Volume in Obese and Morbidly Obese Patients," Lemmens et al Obesity Surgery 2006 Jun;16(6):773-6.
