  4. Opioid equivalency calc needs newer opiates added

The opiate conversion calc is great, except that it is missing some newer opiate medications. The main one that is missing is Oxymorphone, also known as Opana or OpanaER. This drug is becoming as big as oxycodone for long term care of chronic pain and cancer patients due to its potency, so including conversion formulas in the opiate equivalency calc would be a wise decision and benefit a lot of people, especially since there is a lot of conflicting data out there, sometimes saying that its equivalence to oxycodone is 1:2 respectively and other times ill see its equivalence stated…

While I would love to turn MedCalc into an EHR, this is out of scope for now. I think it would be frustrating if you wrote your prescriptions into MedCalc and then have to enter them into your EHR anyway. For the rounds you could just add a note if you desire this functionality for temporary prescription storage.

  15. Windows Desktop version

My facility bans smart phones in the O.R. but we can use a PC. I love MedCalc and would love to have it loaded onto the PCs. Any chance?

    Komplette Formel-Liste: http://medcalc.medserver.be/formulas.html
