Mini Mental Status (MMSE)
Unfortunately MMSE is copyrighted, so we don't know whether and when we'll be able to implement it.
208 votesWe have to mark MMS as “declined” because we can not offer copyrighted material.

Opioid equivalency calc needs newer opiates added
The opiate conversion calc is great, except that it is missing some newer opiate medications. The main one that is missing is Oxymorphone, also known as Opana or OpanaER. This drug is becoming as big as oxycodone for long term care of chronic pain and cancer patients due to its potency, so including conversion formulas in the opiate equivalency calc would be a wise decision and benefit a lot of people, especially since there is a lot of conflicting data out there, sometimes saying that its equivalence to oxycodone is 1:2 respectively and other times ill see its equivalence stated…

Correction on the serum osmolality formula information
Glucose should be divided by 18. So it should be (2 x Na) + (glucose/18) + (BUN / 2.8) source: Kaplan 2003, p.41
3 votesThis would be necessary if glucose was in mg/dL and you’d need to convert it to mmol/L. However the formula as given states that glucose already is in mmol/L.

ARDS PEEP
Adjustments depending on FiO2 .
2 votesPEEP is a table that varies broadly, depending on ventilator. Not something we can provide I’m afraid.

Prescription
In the patient part of MedcalcPro could you add as the Note a Prescrition portion.
1 voteWhile I would love to turn MedCalc into an EHR, this is out of scope for now. I think it would be frustrating if you wrote your prescriptions into MedCalc and then have to enter them into your EHR anyway. For the rounds you could just add a note if you desire this functionality for temporary prescription storage.

Windows Desktop version
My facility bans smart phones in the O.R. but we can use a PC. I love MedCalc and would love to have it loaded onto the PCs. Any chance?
1 voteSorry, no, this is definitely off limits for us.

Kategorie "Alle"
Könntet Ihr eine Kategorie "Alle" Formeln einfügen, um eine uneingeschränkte Fesamtansicht/Liste zu haben?
Dank, Moritz Haas1 voteKomplette Formel-Liste: http://medcalc.medserver.be/formulas.html

App Marketing
Hi,
My name is Josh and I'm getting in touch on behalf of the Educational App Store.
We are an online market place giving parents and teachers access and insight to the best learning apps out there.
If you'd like to talk about how we may be able to promote your apps, I'd be happy to arrange a call.
Best,
Josh1 voteThanks Josh for thinking of us, but we do not currently seek marketing opportunities nor do we have a budget for it.
