  8. The 1800 rule for insulin sensitivity

A calc where you input current and desired blood sugar, total insulin and it tells you how much more insulin you need

Insulin sensitivity factor =1800/total insulin in day

To apply we do this calculation:
(Current blood sugar- target bs)/ insulin sensitivity factor

A useful feature would also be to allow a range of 1500 to 2000 for the correction factor as a drop down menu, so I could choose the proper one according to the type of insulin

  14. Basingstoke predictive index

I would very much appreciate it if you could include the Basingstoke predictive index for survival after surgery for liver metastasis from colorectal carcinoma.

  17. Pediatric Growth Charts

We get a lot of requests for growth charts, but adding a complete charts solution is outside of the scope of MedCalc. A standalone growth charts app done by me at Boston Children's Hospital is now available for free:
    http://p2.github.com/growth-charts/index/

However, we are considering adding percentile/Z-score calculators.

  20. Successor to Harris-Benedict

Harris Benedict equation is not used much anymore. There are other and better. See the evidence analysis library from the american dietetic association for better energy calculations ... They were tested against indirect calorimetry.
